Hacks wireless routers to obtain WEP passwords. Easy to use. Supports Linux OS. Some wireless cards not supported (refer to site for more information). Free. Can be used with Live Linux CD such as Knoppix (without installing Linux). Does not support Windows.

Tried Aircrack and obtained WEP password in about 20 minutes. Easy to use. However, a little linux knowledge is required such as installing and running the program.

Spoofing Broadcom Wireless

1. Broadcom Wireless Cards unable to change MAC address
This is due to the drivers provided by Windows (Windows Update). To change your Broadcom Wireless MAC address, you will need to download another driver provided by DELL.

2. Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapater
In this guide, Broadcom 4321AG is used. However, other models are also applicable.

3. Download & Install - Dell Wireless 1500 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini-Card
http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/R151517.EXE (Except US, Japan), Google for other countries.

4. Spoofing MAC address

To spoof MAC address, go to Device Manager > 'Dell Wireless 1500' Properties > Advanced > Locally Administered MAC Address

5. Confirming MAC address changed

To check, go to run > cmd > ipconfig /all

6. Problems arising from old Dell drivers
When wireless is connected, problems with sound will arise. Music played will not be smooth. Noise, muffling, etc.

7. How to solve?
Use Dell drivers only when you want to change your MAC address. Use the latest driver from Windows Update (Audio problem solved but MAC address problem not solved).
